If this reading the Dalail ul Khayrat is too heavy or too much, as it takes about 30mins a day to read everyday then just simply read a very Powerful called Salawat ala-faith. Link below.!
Salawat al-Fatih (Durood-e-Fatih) Associated with the Tijani order
This Salawat ala rasul is enough for you and your family if you just keep consistent with it, so keep on reading it ask duas with it, by and, try reading it 11 times every night (go to sleep and talk to nobody and try to sleep in Wudu, you’ll see the most wonderful dreams In’shallah if you make this a practice, if you can’t no problem but try now and again sleeping in wudu reading the salawat as your last ibaadah ) and 100 times every Friday.
once your more familiar with this Salawat ala rasul increase the number get to reading it 40 times a day and 1000 on Fridays but don’t do this straight away built up to it over a period of time like 40 days or more depending on your will on reading, if this is too much then 11 times every night is just fine and 100 times very Friday is really a Must after Asr prays.
many sisters have used it for marriage and other duas and have benefited from it greatly. this is my gift to you and your family
Salawat ala fatih-durood-e-faith
One sisterl after taking the Advise Learnt Verses of Ya-Sin in her dreams and her Kashf opened for her. another had 10 men asking her hand in marriage and complained what was the dua i gave. i laughed and told her its the Powerf of Salawat ala nabi and the i gave is called Salaawat ala Fatah. is very powerful. one friend was blessed to see twice the Noble Rasul lillah peace and blessing upon him 1000 times.
Salawat on the Holy Prophet, peace & blessings of Allah be upon him
Where Salaw'at is concerned, Allah does not put any pre-conditions. Allah says in the Holy Quran: "Allah and His Angels send blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Send ye blessings on him and salute him with all respect." al-Ahzab 33: 56
Allah says here that He and His Angels are sending blessings on the Prophet, peace & blessings of Allah be upon him. So believers you too do the same. On this basis, many Spiritual Masters instruct to engage one's self in reciting much Salawa'at, as we will be doing what Allah and his angels are doing!
There are also many traditions that extol the benefits of Salawaat. These include:
"On the Day of Resurrection, the one nearest to me will be the one who recited Salawa'at most frequently." Tirmidhi
"If anyone invokes blessings on me once, Allah will shower His Mercy on him ten times, forgive ten of his sins and he will be elevated ten ranks." Nasai
The famous tradition amongst all on Salawat:
The Prophet (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked by Umar bin Kaab: "Ya Rasulullah, I say excessive salawa'ats on you. After all my compulsory prayers, how much should I devote on salawa'ats?" He (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said : "As you wish". Umar : "One fourth?" He (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said : "As you wish but if you increase, it is better for you." Umar : "Half?" He (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said : "As you wish but if you increase, it is better for you." Umar : "Two third?" He (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said : "As you wish but if you increase, it is better for you." Umar : "I will spend all my excessive time reciting salawaats!" He (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said : "In that case, you will be freed from cares and your sins will be forgiven."
Praise of the Holy Prophet, peace & blessings of Allah be upon him
In a number places in the Holy Quran, Allah (swt), praises the Holy Prophet (sal) and instructs us to Praise the Holy Prophet, than to give respect. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an
"... those that believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, it is they who will prosper." al-A'raf 7: 157
This clearly states that those who honour the Holy Prophet, peace & blessings of Allah be upon him, are those who will be successful. What is a better way to Honour somebody than to Praise him aloud! Reciting Salawaat is not Praise. Salawaat is asking Allah to bless the Prophet, peace & blessings of Allah be upon him. It is a du'a.
